Really one of my favourite episodes.

Rommie (the android) stars in this as she has the mission to rescue an informant who despised androids. Really all people on this planet can only think of killing androids because of an uprising many years ago. Tomake things more thrilling, Tyr, Bem and Harper are on the Maru but are shot and can't get to her, and the ship is sinking - quite a terrible situation as rev Bem tells them he could lose control at any time ...

This episode is very "human" (hence the title) so it could qualify to any of the characters (yes, even Tyr that puts his life in danger to save Harper), that's what I like in Gene Roddenberry series, the feeings and ethics of the characters are often put to the test and "good" feelings like trust, friendship and courage always come on top, but in an intelligent, non caricatural way.

The episode is centered on Rommie (yeah of course there's a lot of similarities to Data or Odo with this character ) played wonderfully by Lexa Doig (and I think she's beautiful too). Her curious or surprised stares are just nicely put to play the "emotions" a robot could feel, put in a situation where she has to rescue soemone who thinks of her she's just some scraps of metal put together.

Another reason for me to be sad the show didn't go past season 5.
