Exit Strategies

Aired Unknown Oct 08, 2001 on Syfy

  • Trivia

    • When Beka asks Tyr what he did when he took the Maru for three weeks and they found him being hunted by the Drago-Kasov Pride. She is referring to the events of "Music of a Distant Drum".

    • Rev reveals that Magog must kill their food for it to start the digestive process. He says he keeps some live Salmon in hydroponics to eat.

  • Quotes

    • Beka: I hate weather, did I mention that? Rev, you're a monk. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the Divine had wanted us to suffer through weather, he never would have given us space travel, am I right?
Rev Bem: So, now you believe in the Divine?
Beka: Let's just say that, sitting on a crashed starship freezing to death? I'm open to the idea.

    • Dylan: Tyr, any ideas about what might change their minds about killing us?
      Tyr: Killing them first?

    • Tyr: Captain Hunt, in the past few months, you've been placing yourself in a number of very risky situations. It's not a healthy trend.
Dylan: Thank you, Tyr. I didn't know you cared.

    • Tyr: Reverend Behemiel! (slaps Rev) Are you dead?
Rev: Tyr Anasazi of the Kodiak Pride. Clearly I am not in Heaven.

    • Beka: (about the Maru) This is my home. It was my home before I met you, it's my home now, and when the Andromeda has been blown to Hell by the Magog, and each and every one of you is dead, it'll still be my home. (she pauses and calms down a bit) Sorry, that was a bit much.
Dylan: No, no. That's, uh, that's OK. I'd be upset if someone suggested blowing up the Andromeda.

    • Beka: (to her ship, in a soothing voice) It's OK baby, you'll be all right.

    • (After their ship falls in a crater)
Rev: I realize we are all fallen angels, but twice in one day?!

    • (After the the Maru fell, Beka's on her back with Dylan on top of her, face-to-face. They both look awkward.)
      Dylan: Beka.
Beka: Oh. I didn't think you went in for hugs.
Dylan: Oh, I, uh, I love hugs. It's the kissing that freaks me out.
(The keep looking at each other, not moving.)

    • The soul is larger than the sky
      Deeper than the ocean,
      Or the abysmal dark
      Of the unfathomed center.
