Rommie: Harper, why don't you find yourself a nice girlfriend? Harper: I tried building one, but she doesn't want me!
Rommie: Dylan, you're not a very popular person down here. Dylan: Yeah, I know. I feel like a politician.

Title:
The title is a reference to the Spanish dollar (also known as the "piece of eight" or the eight real coin) which is the silver coin, worth eight reales, that was minted in the Spanish Empire after a Spanish currency reform in 1497, and was the first world currency. As a way of making change, the coin was often chopped into eight pie shaped "bits" each worth a single real. A quarter of the coin was called "two bits", a euphemism that later became popular for the American quarter.
