Andromeda

In this episode, a lot more is revealed about Trance Gemini as she is invited by scientists of the Inari to help their people lay down prejudice and hatred toward outsiders and other species. Meanwhile, the rest of the Andromeda crew are searching for the misterious attacker, who destroys Inari ships carrying precious resources for the depleted homeworld of the Inaris.

Things turn out to be different for Trance as she is held prisoner by the Inaris, who seek out ways of killing her and wanting to know where she comes from, what she is. The lead scientist Professor Logitch (played by the X-Files cigarrette-smoker) reveales that a male of the same species as Trance caused the civil war that nearly destroyed the planet, causing 50% if the population to die.
