    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Nitpicks: In the teaser, when Dylan is shooting at bottles to test Harper's new gun, there are several issues. To begin with, Dylan shoots his first bottle, which breaks, then a large piece shifts and falls a second later, a highly unlikely result of a round hitting a bottle at high velocity. He then shoots all the rest of the bottles in the line-up, then talks to Harper for awhile. Then he turns back and shoots another bottle, though there were none left unbroken previously. Lastly, the final broken bottle breaks exactly the same way as the first bottle did, and since it broke in a highly improbable fashion, it's extremely easy to see that they just reused the same footage for both shots.

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Dylan: (to Rhade) I wouldn't go into acting, if I were you.
        Rhade: (offended) What?!

      • Andromeda AI: Welcome to the Andromeda Ascendant. I am ..
        Doyle: A holographic artificial intelligence.
Andromeda AI: Not so artificial that I fail to recognize the tone of your voice.
Doyle: What tone? All I said was holographic intelligence.
Andromeda AI: Tone, meaning attitude. The underlining emotion to sarcasm.
Trance: There's, um, work to be done here, guys.
Andromeda AI: I control all functions on this starship. You may access me at points which I determine and mediate.
Doyle: On the other hand I have a body and I'm free to walk around.
Andromeda AI: Then you are also free to leave and not come back.

      • Trance (about Doyle): Oh, boy. Here's trouble.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • The Great Equalizer:

Cutter refers to his new pistols as "Equalizers", meaning that they are available to everyone and easy to use. This is the same slogan used by Colt for their revolvers, because the pistols could be used by anyone, regardless of their physical ability, whereas firearms up to that point required a certain amount of strength and dexterity to be loaded and fired.
