This is probably the best episode in the first half of season 1. Trapped in a black hole for 300 years, Dylan Hunt literally missed his entire life as he knew it. For him to be able to communicate with Sarah, his long lost fiancee, was vital for him to reach at least some level of closure. More importantly, the crew of the Andromeda begins to start to work together in an effort to rescue their captain. If this would have occurred at the beginning of the season, the crew may have very well left Hunt, and taken Andromeda for themselves. All in all, a nice way for us to see Hunt's past, and for him to move on with his life to try to restore the Commonwealth.
