      • Dylan: (getting a Comm on Andromeda) Hunt here.
        Virgil Vox: Captain Hunt.
Dylan: 'Captain Hunt?' Haven't heard that in a long time.
Virgil Vox: What's time in a place like this? Or rank?
Dylan: Hey, you're the one that called me 'Captain'. So where are you, Virgil?
Virgil Vox: Here, there, everywhere. Nowhere, my man.
Dylan: Do you ever not talk in puzzles?
        Vigil Vox: Not yet.
Dylan: Well then puzzle me this? Why Beka? Why all of us here together but apart? (no response) Hmmph... so now I get the silent treatment. Look, you're the one that contacted me so what can I do for you? (still no response and he sighs) I'm going to bed.
        Virgil Vox: Sleep tight.
Dylan: How about something smooth to take me there? (he walks off Command)
Virgil Vox: Already done. Virgil Vox back on your box. This ray of sunshine goes out to all of us who are castaway, like the late great crew of Andromeda Ascendant.

      • (Dylan & Rhade are monitoring Beka from the Maru)
Rhade: She hasn't moved for some time.
Dylan: She could be sleeping. (Rhade gives him a skeptical look) It is that time.
Rhade: Or she could be dying. (long pause)
Dylan: Let's go see if she's...sleeping.
        Rhade: Sleeping. (scoffs)

      • (while looking for Beka inside Boyagen's Remembrance Wall)
        Rhade: Now what?
Dylan: I don't know, but she's close by. (leans on the wall behind him and falls through it) Whoa!
Rhade: How the hell does he do that?

      • (to Avineri after he dies)
Beka: I came here for a prize...(sniffles)...and I found...(sings)...two suns shining in the sky, looking down on you and I. Like the suns I'll always be, here for you and you...(sniffles).

      • (Andromeda in Command)
Trance: It all will be revealed if we are patient.
Rhade: I'm not good at patience anymore.
        Beka: Me neither.

      • (trying to recruit someone to help her find Virgil's secret)
        Beka: Rhade?
Rhade: Sorry. Gotta wash my hair.
Harper (before Beka even looks at him): Don't look at me. (she looks at him) Seriously, don't look at me!

      • (when Beka says she'll split Virgil's secret with them)
Harper: Hey, a piece of nothing is nothing.
Doyle: And a piece of something is something.
        Beka: Smart lady.

      • (Doyle does recon for Beka)
Doyle: Don't shoot! Don't shoot! We don't wanna hurt anyone! (she and Rhade beat up the 2 guards, knock them out and hide them)
Voice on Speaker (repeats message all day): Outsiders mean death.

      • Rhade: Make sure you come back so we can get paid, or I'll kill you myself.
Beka (to Dylan): They're so cute at that age.
Dylan: He's trying to be scary. (chuckles)

      • Rbarton (to Beka): I have a proposal.
Dylan: Sounds like a threat to me.
Rbarton: Is there any other kind?

      • (Rbarton tells Dylan he broke the law with his technology)
Trance: But there are no rules or laws here.
Dylan: Oh, I have one. No one boards my ships without an invitation.
(Harper smiles giving him a thumbs up and a drink)

      • (during the fight, Harper takes out his gun and fires it twice at the ceiling and the fighting stops)
Harper: All right. Let's see who wants to keep fighting now? (aims his guns at the crowd)
Trance: Or drinks for half price.
        Harper: What?!

      • Dylan: Don't worry. We are here to serve YOU, Beka.
Beka: That's right. That's what I like to hear.

      • Dylan: Oh, what the heck? What do you say we boost the falsh by about, oh, 16%? Give her a bigger entrance?
Rhade: Dylan, I like the way you think. (they chuckle deviously)

      • Dylan: I'm getting a faint reading right here.
Rhade: It's locked. Maybe Andromeda can break the code.
Dylan: Rhade. (Rhade looks at Dylan who is waving his force lance)
        Rhade: That'll work.

      • (Avineri is dying)
Beka: You know I'm not your daughter.
        Avineri: Trust goes beyond facts.
        Beka: I wish I was.
Avineri: How do you know you're not?

      • (to Beka)
Avineri: Strange isn't a bad thing. Only unexpected.

      • Avineri and Beka's lullaby: Two Suns shining in the sky,
Looking down on you and I.
Like the Suns I'll always be,
Here for you and you for me.

      • Avineri: The wall itself, it's Vedran technology. Put your hand on it. (Beka does so) Now, tell me who you really are.
        Beka: Beka Valentine. (Nothing happens)
Avineri: Tell me who you are.
Beka: I'm Rebecca Valentine. (crying) I don't know what you want me to do! (suddenly understanding) I'm Mala Propina.

      • Virgil Vox: No reason to fear. Awareness has chosen you to watch. Listen. Learn. As you know more and more, you'll question more and more, which seems a paradox, but isn't. So. Are you ready now to receive my message? Millennia passed when everything was nothing. Enigma realizes itself. The Vedran mind comes into being. It constructed planets and suns, the nonpareil of their creations. A place of peace. Refuge in the universe caught in the chaos of selfishness. The Seefra System was born. And the Vedrans seperated it from all other things, isolated it for it to flourish. But nothing can withstand the corruptions of desire. Inhabitants began fighting for what they already had. The Vedran, almost all, left their creation behind to learn from their mistakes, which were many. And the Vedran creators closed off all escape and entree. Imbued their people with fear of the very technologies that could free them. Centuries later, now, the suns are failing. You are key to their salvation.
Beka: What? How can that be?
Virgil Vox: Because you're from this place, as we all are. You are to secure the Methus Plate, the original architecture of the twin suns. Give them to the one who led you here. But to get the Methus Plate, you must trust, even in the face of your fears.
        Beka: How?
Virgil Vox: Reveal who you are.

      • (after Harper serves them some drinks and they see the black armband)
Trance: Black armband. That means trouble.
Harper: For Sembler. For me, it means a steady job.

      • (Harper throws Dylan a spoon, while he's fighting)
Dylan: A spoon Harper?! Come on whats that gonna do?

      • Official secrets keep good lies Turning in every mouth.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Mala Propina:

Beka's name Mala Propina must be a reference to the word "malapropism", which is the usually unintentionally humorous misuse or distortion of a word or phrase, or "malapropos", inappropriate. Also, "Mrs. Malaprop" was character noted for her misuse of words in R. B. Sheridan's comedy The Rivals.
