Beka is so afraid of becoming an addict like her father that she abstains from alcohol and all other drugs. Beka's father made her special nanobots that let her change her hair color at will. His partner was Sid Barrie, and he acted like a surrogate uncle to young Beka, and he helped Ingnatius build the Eureka Maru.

      • Trans-Galactic and Quantum Express are two of the largest shipping companies, and they are planning on merging. The Free Trade Alliance must approve the merger before it is allowed to go through.
