Show Summary

Perfectionist Dr. Allison Fuller (Maggie Lawson) is a driven dermatologist when Amy (Jane Lynch) enters her life. Allison figures Amy is just an inebriated, outspoken nut case - and not her guardian angel as Amy claims, until every one of her warnings proves true. Allison can't discuss Amy with her father and business partner, Dr. Marvin Fuller (Kevin Pollak), a sunburned dermatologist, or her younger brother, Brad Fuller (Kyle Bornheimer), a pharmaceutical sales rep who lives over her garage. Allison does her best  to get rid of Amy but Amy makes her final pitch. Amy's sole mission is to provide Allison with helpful guidance that pushes her in the right direction in life - and it's her final chance to prove herself as an angel. Allison agrees to this unlikely relationship because maybe a weird friend is exactly what she needs.

    • SOOOOO PISSED OFF!!!! FIRE THE GUY WHO MAKES THE CANCELLATION DECISIONS!!!! HE SUCKS!!!!

      10
Grandfathered, the Grinder, and Life in Pieces are all still on the air and I stopped watching each of those after giving each three eps; they were that horrid. And now, once again, the powers-that-be have chosen to drop another really GREAT series that had potential to run or years. It was cute, different, witty. It had a great actress playing the angel and a great actor playing the father. Great plots, great stars, good humor, intelligent and thoughtful storylines. What more could you want? Apparently those who make these decisions were smoking weed again while playing with the axe. I think the networks should seriously consider "canceling" the idiots who decide what keeps playing and get someone in that office who can make an intelligent decision for once.moreless
    • Had potential

I like very few comedies these days but this one had potential.. it needed some tweaking, but was different, smart... why do they cancel without giving these shows a fighting chance?

    • Say it isn't so!

I loved 'Angel From Hell' and looked forward to watching it. How can you cancel it and keep that awful 'Life in Pieces' on!
    • Pretty dumb

      4.0
Lately this season on TV I've seen shows that weren't outright terrible, but not worth watching again. I am not surprised that this show got canceled at all. I wonder why they delayed it to midseason, but they might have just known that it wouldn't last and really wanted Jane Lynch to host the People's Choice Awards. But that's just a crazy thought that I had that probably isn't true. But I should get to why this show was bad. When I watched it, I could tell the parts that were supposed to be funny, but clearly weren't. I didn't understand some of it. Was the angel a person that was imagined by the main character somehow? Was she real? She might have just been some type of confused person. That's why I didn't understand a lot of this show. It might have worked as a drama. It just seemed too dumb to actually work as a show.moreless
