I agree, I in general didn't like the season 4 story arc. Though I liked many episodes in season 4.

I would have liked to see more Faith on Angel. I think she had good chemistry with the show in general, maybe more so then even on Buffy.

    Agree.

The characterization of Angelus was very different than how it was on Buffy, a little worse.

Disagree, I don't think it was worse. I think they just continued off of it.

Cordy should have been in season 5 for the whole season.

Disagree. I liked her one last hurrah. She would have thrown off the cast chemistry too much.

It was weird that Harmony would become a secretary.

Agree, it was odd. Harmony essentially took over as Cordy from year 1 of Angel.

I wished Angel had a bit more of a love interest in the show. I mean aside from Cordy briefly and Nina the Wolf, there was nothing. It was like they were holding onto the Buffy dynamic thing a bit much.

    Disagree.

Of all the people in Angel Investigations, in the end, no one profited from their relationship with Angel: Cordy, Fred, Wes, Lilah, Lindsey, and presumably Gunn died because they knew Angel, and Lorne was extremely depressed and asked to kill someone. No one ended up happy.

Disagree--they may not have profited physically (what with the death and dying and all), but they sure did a lot of good and learned a lot about themselves.

It made absolutely no sense to bring back Angelus in season 4 from a plot perspective; done purely for the sake of it.

I agree to an extent. I mean they needed to make him bad so he could be the one to kill the beast and we get the big "Cordy is evil" shocker.

Oz from Buffy would have actually fit in better on Angel

Disagree. Even in 'In the Dark', I felt he was out of place with the chemistry.

The whole Lawson episode from season five should just never have happened.

Half-disagree, I think Oz's somewhat emotionally detached and wryly observant nature was a good counterpoint to the emotionality of the other characters, and didn't really fit in Angel that well. However, I think after New Moon Rising, I would have liked to have seen him appear on Angel, partially because I like the Oz character, partially because his intuition would have come in handy, and partially because he could have related to Angel in a way the other characters couldn't.

Disagree, I liked that episode. A goofy setup, but I still liked it overall.

Wesley seemed to want to be heroic, but was too narcissistic and emotionally damaged, and lacked enough common sense and self-awareness to make good decisions, making him easily manipulated.

    Disagree, Wesley was great.

They failed to show Angel as having super speed enough times.

Disagree, I think showing it more would have been gaudy.

It would have been neat to have Drusilla as a Big Bad on the show, ensouled or not, or at least as a real, enduring force during an entireseason.

Disagree. I never thought Drusilla was a very effective villain on her own.

The orange sweater Drusilla wears in 'Redefinition' is the ugliest thing any character has ever worn.

Disagree, a lot of stuff Lorne wore was even worse. Even his **** big suit"

Disagree. I would say bisexual at the least.

Season four could have been so much better if Charisma Carpenter had never gotten pregnant and forced a following storyline.

Agree 100% Though that would have caused her to be in season 5, which I think would have been great but someone already disagreed because of the chemistry issue.

The use of the name "Doyle" by Lindsey in Season 5 was kind of upsetting.

Agree, but kind of necessary for the plot.

They should have told us more about what Lindsey did between the time he left and then came back in season five.

I actually agree. It was like he popped out of nowhere and how did he know Eve?

Smile Time was the best Episode of Angel in season 5
