This is actually our first real snow this winter. We've been getting lots of ice, which I hate. This time we got ice and snow. I'm really not looking forward to 3 a.m. I get to open again tomorrow. It would sure be nice if they plow my road between now and then. At least my driveway is clear.

    *Walks in from an inferno*

LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE Z'Rolf. It's on me.

    *SPLASH*

    Thats what I'm talking about.

It's still boiling here. Last night was one of the hottest nights on record and it's supposted to still be very hot tonight. And I have plans! I'm going to a bar. I'm going to die but a boy I like will be there so it's all good. Also, wanna hear something terrible? Well nobody wants to hear anything terrible I know but earlier today, a woman threw her 6 year old daughter off a busy bridge here in Melbourne. She daughter is in critical condition at the hospital. What the hell is wrong with people?!

    *Steps up the the mic*

    Miles Away by Madonna

I just woke up from a fuzzy dream
You never would believe the things that I have seen
I looked in the mirror and I saw your face
You looked right through me, you were miles away

All my dreams, they fade away
    I'll never be the same
If you could see me the way you see yourself
I can't pretend to be someone else

Always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away

When noone is around then I have you here
I begin to see the picture, it becomes so clear
You always have the biggest heart
    When we're 6.000 miles apart

    Too much of no sound
Uncomfortable silence can be so loud
Those three words are never enough
    When it's long distance love

Always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away

    I'm alright
Don't be sorry, but it's true
    When I'm gone, you realize
That I'm the best thing that happened to you

You always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away

You always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away

So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away
So far away, so far away, so far away, so far away

I know how you feel. We got hit first with snow, then a layer of ice, then another layer of snow and sleet. The commute tomorrow is going to be a fun one! The rental car I have right now is totally made to slide when water is in sight, so God knows what it'll do in this mess.

HI! I feel bad for not dropping by as often as I used to. Well, being in the hospital with an exploded appendix kinda made it a little hard i suppose.

On the bright side, im feeling much better, and i dont feel like my kidney is taking a sledgehammer to my stomach.

Z'Kelso, get back here with that! My woe is a big enough pain without you giving it my drinks as well. * sip * Thank you, Auntie.

On the plus side, I got cast in a little homegrown production up here called "Last of the Minot Flappers." I play an old blind guy in his 70s named "Grampa Exposition" (actually, just Gramps). I'm on for about five minutes to basically move the plot along and for light physical comedy.

It's reasonably funny and we open in about a month. w00t!

I heard a song on the radio today that just might inspire me to start making YooToob music videos again - the song is Marble Gods by Sad Day For PUPPETS - it can be heard on their MySpace page. I love it! It reminds me of the sort of stuff that was around in the late 80's/early 90's.

When I get hold of a decent mp3 I might dig out my video editor - not sure what viddy visuals to use, but I'll think of something.
