Today was a wonderful day. I feel like I accomplished lots of things, and tonight I'm going for a walk and doing some laundry.

Hope every else is doing OK. Laters!

Glad to hear that you had a good day. Mine was a bit trying. Snow was all around us, and my students were all in a dither. While we were in school, there was no accumulation. It is really tough motivating 25 6th graders while there is snow in the air.

I went to a walk tonight- on my treadmill I hate that thing. I like to exercise, but my treadmill is in the basement, and the atmosphere is, well, its basementy.

Oh dear. I completely sympathize with the bleh of treadmills. The walking track at the college is really monotonous. I can't wait to start walking outside again.

Z'Kelso, I'm certain Auntie would prefer to consult a medical professional before you just start supergluing found objects to her.

Helpful boy, but dumb as a box of hair. Oy.

One of the zombies. They're just supposed to serve drinks and play music and keep the place tidy, but Z'Kelso often goes that extra mile. Sadly, it's rarely away.

When it comes to Z'Kelso, just smile and nod. You'd be surprised how handy that is.

LOL Same. I do it a lot as well. My dad seems to always want to talk to me whenever I'm listening to my ipod. I listen to my ipod on full only when I"m cleaning, or brushing my teeth. He'll walk up and start a conversation, I'll have no idea what he is saying so I"ll just smile and nod and laugh when he laughs.

I actually never do the smile and nod thing. I just go, what, until they tell me what the hell they're talking about.

Thanks, I've been posting in the Buffy forum, since 04, and X-Files for about a year, but I thought I'd expand my horizon and come say hi over here. (Angel is SUCH an amazing show after all!) Except I didn't actually say "hi" at anypoint... but yeah, Hi! And thank you for the welcome (Oh, and I'm Hannah )

    Howdy, Hannah.

This song came up on my mp3 player today and it made me think of Py. To be fair I have a lot of songs that make me think of Py.

    Return to Oz

    The Scissor Sisters

    Listen to it here.

    Once there was a man
Who had a little too much
    Time on his hands
    He never stopped to think
    That he was getting older
But when his night came to an end
He tried to grasp for his last friend
    And pretend
That he could wish himself health
    On a four-leaf clover

He said is this the return to Oz?
    The grass is dead
    The gold is brown
    And the sky has claws
    There's a wind-up man
    Walking round and round
    What once was Emerald City's
    Now a crystal town

    Three o'clock in the morning
    You get a phone call
From the queen with a hundred heads
She says that they're all dead
She tried the last one on
    It couldn't speak, fell off
And now she just wanders the halls
    Thinking nothing
    Thinking nothing at all

She said is this the return to Oz?
    The grass is dead
    The gold is brown
    And the sky has claws
    There's a wind-up man
    Walking round and round
    What once was Emerald City's
    Now a crystal town

    The wheelies are cutting pavement
And the Skeksis at the rave meant
    To hide deep inside
    Their sunken faces
    And their wild rolling eyes
    But their callous words reveal
That they can no longer feel
    Love or sex appeal
The patchwork girl has come to cinch the deal

    Do return to Oz
    We've fled the world
    With smiles and clenching jaws
Please help me friend from coming down
I've lost my place and now it can't be found
Is this the return to Oz?
    The grass is dead
    The gold is brown
    And the sky has claws
    There's a wind-up man
    Walking round and round
    What once was Emerald City's
    Now a crystal town

Am I the only one who is now picturing fatfreeoreos doing Dave Chapelle's impression of Lil Jon?

LOL, unc! "Return to Oz" is among my faves, so I hear it most days. I've also added "Filthy/Gorgeous" back into the mix.
