With the show on re-runs on TNT, I was inspired to share my love of the Buffy-verse with my 12 year old. We watched all of the seasons of Buffy and intermixed them with Angel, the way they originally aired. We are watching the final season of Angel now. It just shows me still, how great this show was, and how much I still miss it. Looking back, I do love the ending, because Joss Whedon is such a great writer, I never felt that there HAD to be more, I just know that I still want more. Buffy the Vampire Slayer had more of a send off, the story seemed to come full circle. Angel still had some stories to share. It was such a great show. I still wish there had been more, nearly 10 years later. That speaks of the greatness of the show. That, and my 12 year old LOVES it. She loved them both, and SHE is disappointed that Angel isn't still on!

I still miss them too. It is wonderful that you can share these great shows with your daughter.

Angel should've ended on Season 4.

Thank you for that observation. Now, any chance we could find out *why* you think that this is the case?

Personally, I think that season 4 was the weakest season in the run of the series and that season 5 redeemed the show significantly.

It was weak but it had a strong finale which could've perfectly wrapped the series if they added a few details. Angel as the head of Wolman and Hart, after all that had happened it's just an ass pull, cordelia still lost, and all the crap they pulled.

Connor with a new family, Wolfman and Hart done for, Jasmine and the demons dead could've been perfect.
