Angelic Layer: Does this anime worth it?

I'm going to get the entire serie in anime, but, does it worth it? I watched the trailer in my Final Fantasy Unlimted DVD, but I dont really know, if its very girly I dont want it.

I like the series. It is kinda kid-ish and maybe "girly" depending on what you define that as, but it's not at all bad. If you like action/humor genres, you should like this...oh, and there's kinda some romance, too.

I liked it enough to get the full set. All through the show it has sappy emotional endings. Misaki changes the life outlook of her opponents with her friendship, and eventually realizes what she really feels. Girly, yes,(I like that kind of stuff) but with good action in the angel fights.

It's def. worth it. Sure, it's kinda girly, but really, you don't even realize it. It's worth every cent IMO.

Yeah, ok, I got it, is good, but the music is like... I dont know and it didnt make stay wacthing it very frecuently, I'm going to wacth it when I return to the school

According to the commentary by DVD coordinator Mariela Ortiz, it's one of CLAMP's first series geared for boys so it's more action than shojo romance.

What? You don't like the Olympic sounding themes?
