This was one of the sitcoms I watched faithfully every week growing up. I will never forget the episode where The Falcos went on Family Feud, it was hysterical! As a child, I recorded those bits on a cassette & would play them back later when I needed a smile & to feel happy.
The characters on Angie were like family to me. I had a huge crush on Robert Hays (Brad) & adored the entire cast. They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. I cherish & treasure my memories of this show, they'll remain forever in my heart.

Angie was a situation comedy starring Donna Pescow, an actress best-known at the time for her appearance in Saturday Night Fever. Pescow played the optimistic Angie Falco, a working-class Italian-American waitress from Philadelphia who meets and marries a wealthy pediatrician (played by Robert Hays). Comedy ensued because of the strong differences among their families, with Angie and husband Brad eloping and moving into Brad's family mansion. During the course of the series, Angie would change careers and friends, and the couple would change homes a few times. Though the program started with good ratings and a theme song that made the pop music charts, multiple changes in time slot and recurring characters resulted in a loss of viewers and the show was cancelled during the second year of its run.moreless
