Welcome to the Animal Crack-Ups guide at TV Tome.
This simple Saturday morning game show featured four celebrity panelists playing for their favorite animal charity.
Host Thicke asked questions about animals. Some were posed individually, while others were asked of the entire group. Video footage of animals from the Tokyo Broadcasting System frequently provided the answers.
Celebrities received a toy monkey for each correct answer. The one with the most monkeys won $2,500 for his/her charity.
Many of the guest stars were from ABC programs, including (not coincidentally) Thicke's sitcom, Growing Pains. Blackouts featured "Reggie the Heggie," an animatronic hedgehog, narrating videos of animals.
Thicke, a prolific composer of many TV themes, composed this one, too: "Animals are Just Like People Too."
