    • Mr. Director: The character of Mr. Director is a caricature of comedian Jerry Lewis.
    • Character Name: Illinois Smith
      Mr. Director plays a character called "Illinois Smith". Illinois Smith is a reference to the character of Indiana Jones who was featured in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Imelda Marcos was known to have owned thousands of pairs of shoes despite the fact that most people in her country lived in poverty.
