Willie Slakmer: (singing) Jimmy crack corn, and I don't care... Wakko: (taking the microphone away) That makes two of us.
(Dr. Scratchansniff is singing karaoke) Scratchansniff: (singing) It's time to talk about your feelings, it's how I earn my pay. Tell me all about your feelings, I'll help them go away! Wakko: Is that Dr. Scratchansniff? Yakko: Either that, or someone has a weasel in a headlock. Scratchansniff: (singing) Feelings!! Yakko/Wakko/Dot: (groan) Scratchansniff...
Dot: "Karaoke"? Wakko: Sounds like a dessert! Dot: Or a vaccine. Scratchansniff: (singing off-key) Feelings!! Yakko: Or an illness!
(repeated line) Willie Slakmer: Thankyou, my...little friends, my small friends.
Willie Slakmer: I'm trying to fill their...little lives with joy. Yakko: Then you should stop singing.
(the karaoke machine is about to explode) Wakko: (imitating Scotty) She can't take anymore, captain!
(at the end of the cartoon) Dot: Oh, I get it: it's a whole Star Trek gag-thing...
Willie Slakmer: John...Jacob...Jingleheimerschmidt... Willie Slakmer singing "John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt" sitting on a stool with a different angle of his face superimposed over his shoulder is a parody of William Shatner singing "Rocket Man" at a concert that used video effects to superimpose multiple Shatners on the stage as if he were harmonizing with himself. These effects were considered state-of-the-art at the time, hence why they were a bit overused.
Characters: Willie Slakmer & Lenny Kneeboy These are takes on Star Trek cast members William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and Leonard Nimoy (Spock).
