- Slappy: No wonder ya like that Bonkers show, that junk's rottin' out yer brain here! Slappy is referring to Bonkers, a fairly long-running (64 episodes) Disney production that began in 1993, the same season as Animaniacs. Disney and Warner have classically been rivals in the animation field.
