(Yakko, Wakko, and Dot Short)
Each of the Warners crosses a bridge to a forbidden valley. Under the bridge lives a nasty little troll and each Warner promises the troll one of their siblings.
  • A fractured fairy tale only the Animaniacs could do.

This rather hilarious take on a classic fairy tale, "The Three Billy Goats Gruff," begins with the Warners "romping through the field" (in a conga line). Dot, tired of romping, decides to pick some flowers in the "forbidden meadow;" which one can only reach by crossing a bridge guarded by a large purple troll. When the troll tries to eat her, Dot tells him to eat her brothers instead (and in the process gives the troll a new hairstyle! :)). Then, when Wakko is approached by the troll, he informs him that Warner Brothers would sue if he was eaten. Yakko is the one who finally vanquishes the troll by flattening him with appears to be a tree stump. This is yet another great Animaniacs parody and a nice twist on a classic story. I especially love the scene in which Wakko sings the opening lines of the "Tiny Toon Adventures" theme, claims he is "sick of that song," and starts to sing the Animaniacs theme instead. Very funny!moreless

    • This episode is a parody of the fairy tale "The Three Billy Goats Gruff."

    • Dot's song ("Tall and dark and really handsome...") is a parody of the popular song "The Girl from Ipanema."

    • Wakko: We're tiny, we're tooney... This is the first line from the theme song to Tiny Toon Adventures another WB show that aired on FOX a few years before Animaniacs started airing. Wakko's comment about how he's sick of that theme reflects the attitude of the studio that Tiny Toon Adventures had run its course and it was time for something new.
