      • During the "Musketeer Roll Call," Dot refers to herself as Dotagnan, an obvious reference to the main character in The Three Musketeers, D'Artagnan. However, D'Artagnan was not actually one of the three musketeers in the novel.

      • Slappy makes a brief appearance in this episode.

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Dot: Musketeer roll call! Yakko: Yakkos! Wakko: Wakkos! Dot: Dotagnan! These are references to the characters in Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, Athos, Porthos, & D'Artagnan.

      • Slappy Squirrel: You three remind me of a very young Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey! Dot: I have no idea what that meant. Slappy is referring to the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey, which premiered in 1964. Dot's response could refer to the fact that it was one of the lesser known Hanna-Barbera works, especially when compared to Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, and Scooby Doo.
