  • It has it's problems, but it's still a likable movie.

This movie is... good. Not quite up to par with the original series, but it's still good. The humor seems to be directed at the kids half the time insted of the parents in the room. That was the appeal of the original series. This is a kids movie, no question about it.

The second problem I have with this movie is that cartoons can age. In the series, it clearly says in sevral episodes that cartoons are drawn one age, and they stay that way forever. I liked that, because it proves that even though the show ended a decade ago, Yakko Wakko and Dot could still be causing havic over at the water tower. Here, however, Yakko tells Dot the story of when she was born, and at the end it shows a picture of them as toddlers. That's my main problem with this movie, actually. This movie is well written, and the art is great. It's a very entertaining picture, and it does Animaniacs justice. It's definatly not a bad movie, it's actually one of my favorites. The sad parts are truely sad, and they did make me a little teary eyed. What they get right, they get really right.
