(after the Scorsese Statue falls down) Bobby: Come on, there's a Coppolla statue down the street!
"West Side Pigeons" is a parody of the 1961 musical "West Side Story", that starred the late Natalie Wood.
The statue of Martin Scorsese is a reference to the fact that Martin Scorsese was the director of "The Goodfellas", which is the basis of the Goodfeathers shorts. Francis Ford Copolla (who is mentioned at the end of the short as another statue for the Goodfeathers to perch on) was the director of "The Godfather" movies, which also influenced the Goodfeathers shorts, including the character of the Godpigeon.
