Tony: Pigs tend to be unlucky on this show.
Tony: I'm a New Yorker. And I use to have the kind of preconceptions about Texas you might expect. But I learned to look at Texas as a foreign land, as different from mine as a another country. When I started to look at Texas with the same respect for that difference that I show other lands, I began to find much to love.
The music playing through the closing credits is the song, "La Bamba."
Anthony: Blast off into that good night, gentle Texans. This line is an allusion to the famous Dylan Thomas poem "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night." Ironically, the meaning of the poem as a whole is the exact opposite of Tony's use of the phrase in the show.
