Anthony starts his journey in the Chinese section of Queens in the suburb of Flushing. With guide Chris Chun and his friend Ming they sample so traditional Chinese cooking. He also samples the Muslim inspired lamb burger created by China's large Muslim community. Over a meal of lamb noodles the issue of China town shifting from the Bronx to Queens is discussed. Next Anthony and Floyd Cardo with his wife sample Hindu vegetarian cuisine. The food is received at a Hindu temple which is also a full functioning restaurant. Next Anthony and David Chang head to the Korean part of Queens and sample live seafood at Sik Gaak. Specifically the two eat live octopus and huge portions of steamed seafood pots. After wards Anthony heads to Staten Island and with New York Dolls band member David Johannsen. The two sample traditional Sri Lankan food such as black curry goat. Next the duo head to the Jade Island for some tiki themed bar drinking. After wards Anthony eats traditional dim sum at East Harbor Chinese restaurant. Next Anthony heads to Los Hermanos with guide Carlos Leguna head chef of Les Halle. In the final segment of the show Anthony takes a food tour with Famous Fat Dave and his tour cab. The two eat their way though the Bronx and first sample Soul Food at Sam's Restaurant. Next the duo eat at Marlow and Sons and it's sister restaurant Marlow and Daughters. Finally Anthony and food critic Peter Mehan eat diner style food in a customized train car turned restaurant.
