Anthony starts his journey at Na-Jings Steamed Bun restaurant to sample their dumplings. He then reveals how Shanghai is considered the dumpling capital of the world. Next Anthony samples street food on one of the busiest streets in the city. Then at Yang's Soup Dumplings restaurant Anthony samples fried dumplings a rare way of cooking the popular dish. Next Anthony heads to Yang Shen Lake and learns about Shanghai hairy crab. They are delicacy due to the fresh water they are farmed in and cost on average forty dollars per crab. Then Anthony meets the Bi people who use birds to fish for them to support their local economy. He also stops by the Wasai market which offers everything the Bi people could want in one place. Next Anthony heads to Lejang an ancient city kept alive by tourism and preservation efforts by the local authorities. While there Anthony see's hunting hawks and their trainers. We learn that despite the thirty year life span of the average hawk. Their trainers let the go free after ten seasons of hunting. Next Anthony heads to monastery and eats all vegetarian meals. The the monastery Anthony heads up the mountains and jokes about the lack of oxygen. On the final leg of his journey Anthony explores Yu-on province and a village that calls itself Shangri-La. Here he visits the worlds largest prayer wheel and comically jokes about avoiding reincarnation as the food he loves to eat. During the last part of the end of his journey Anthony meets Tibetan Yak herders. He samples Yak meat,cheese and milk prepared by his guides family.
