Episode Summary

Christmas Special
The Antiques Roadshow marks the festive season with a look back at some of the year's highlights and updates about items that have appeared on the series. Fiona Bruce finds out what happened to a striking piece of Banksy street art that appeared at the Roadshow in Bristol in May. There is exciting news about a Faberge egg discovered at the Wentworth Woodhouse show by jewellery specialist Geoffrey Munn. Christmas comes early for Paul Atterbury, a keen model railway enthusiast, when he and Hilary Kay get the chance to play with a train set that hadn't been out of its box for over 70 years when it appeared at Chenies Manor in Buckinghamshire. There is also a very special development concerning a tapestry stitched in tribute to rock band Status Quo by a young man left paralysed after a motorcycle accident.moreless
