Ajoni: We're in a little debt. M.E.: How much? Six-seven hundred dollars? Eight hundred? Nine hundred? A thousand? Ajoni: Try twenty. M.E.: TWENTY THOUSAND!? Ajoni: We kept getting credit card applications. M.E.: And it never occurred to you that you didn't need to keep filling them out?
M.E.: What is all this? Ajoni: Just some stuff for the baby. M.E.: You're telling me Emmett needs a leather sofa so he can watch DVDs on the new... 35 inch screen TV? Ajoni: With all due respect, Mrs. Sims, I don't feel comfortable discussing these things when Kelly's not around. M.E.: With all due respect, Ajoni, I don't give a rat's ass. Kelly: We didn't want you guys to worry. M.E.: Parents worry, it's an occupational hazard.
Kelly: I was waiting for the right time to explain. M.E.: Just when were you planning on telling me that your car wasn't stolen but repossessed?
Kelly: Ajoni and I just have to learn to do without some things for a while. You said so yourself. M.E.: I say a lot of things, I'm only right most of the time.
