I thought that this was a great episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". Although, it's not the funniest episode I've ever seen but it was very enjoyable and splendid way to spend 15 minutes of your time. Shake gets tired of being friendly with the environment so he creates a foul environment in the front lawn of their house and Carl helps Shake with his foul environment plan also. Shake and Carl use this cow and inject cheese inside the cow which is pretty foul and gross to see but it sure was funny and it's probably the funniest part out of this entire episode. Shake and Carl then go to the woods and dump all of the oil at the woods where the trees are. The trees then get revenge on both Shake and Carl for dumping the oil in the woods by capturing them and torturing them. Carl being tortured by being hanged upside down and get his skin from front and back ripped off was pretty funny. Shake also about to be cooked by the trees was funny. I don't I laughed at any else after that. The rest of the episode was a little boring and seemed to drag at least a little. Overall, this was a great episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" in my opinion but it is yet not the funniest episode that I have ever seen.... it is a good way to spend 15 minutes of your time though. 8.5/10moreless

  • Shake is tried and nearly convicted by a Forest Court for dumping oil in the forest and setting fire to a tree.

I think this is my second favorite episode. I love this episode because it was the first I ever saw. I laughed until I couldn't breathe when the trees pulled Carl's skin off.
I think this episode is awesome. Shake gets Carl in trouble with the forest, Frylock has to act as a lawyer, Meatwad has delusions of an imaginary wife, and Carl is used as a post-it note. In the end, Shake hasn't accepted his responsibility, feels no remorse, and there is no resolution to the problems. That's why this show will always be in my top three, and why this show continues to kick ass.moreless

  • Master Shake and friends deal with a group of evil trees in a dangerous situation.

    "Good"
This episode starts off fairly slow, with a barbecue in Carl's backyard. Frylock and Meatwad are around a grill when Carl comes out, and of course wants as little to do with them, and as much to do with their food as possible. The scene is saved with the appearance of Master Shake, as usual. He's arrived with a cow to generously provide sustenance. Once the cow has been fried, there's a squabble between Shake and Frylock over how to properly dispose of the oil. Every suggestion of Shakes is shot down, regardless of their merit, whether it be simply tipping the pot over, or pouring it in the river. So it sits there and gathers rats for a while, before Carl helps Shake to pour it out in the woods. Shake leaves early, and Carl is accosted by trees.

Shake receives a summons to appear in tree court. Then, after burning down the tree that delivered it, he receives another one. Just then, two trees come to the house and kidnap him, clearly exceeding their jurisdiction. He bravely faces down this kangaroo tree court, using every legal maneuver he can come up with. Whether it be attempting to get tried as a juvenile, to convincing them that he himself is a tree. Frylock proves himself to be an incompetent attorney, and later disrespects the court be going on a rampage.

We're left with Master Shake's solemn promise to find the real culprits.

While Shake did commit crimes against the Tree People, it should be noted that he did stand trial, and showed respect for their laws and traditions. Frylock, after failing miserably as a lawyer, simply destroys the court, an act of genocide. Meatwad's role in this episode is limited, though he's not missed.moreless

    • When Shake is handling the summons, it makes a ruffling sound as if it's paper, even though it is actually Carl's skin. Edit
    • When the trees apprehend Carl, the branch that the "court stenographer" would eventually use to peel off Carl's skin is on his right. While wood court is in session, that branch is now on his left. Edit
    • Everyone (Carl, Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad) are in the front yard while Shake and Carl are flash-frying the cow. Then, while Meatwad is waiting for Carl to throw the frisbee, there is a far shot of the Aqua Teens' and Carl's houses and Frylock is missing. He then reappears when asking what Shake will do with the oil. Edit

    ADD NOTES
    • The Rent-A-Hoist lifter Shake and Carl use to deep-fry the cow is the same machine Shake used to torture Meatwade in episode PDA. Edit
    • If you zoom in on the summons, you'll see there's actually writing on it. Master Tree has already declared that Shake is guilty for illegal dumping. Edit
    • This is the first episode where we see movement to Carl other than his upper body. He walks away. Edit
