When Shake forgets (or decides not) to pay all the bills, all the utilities and accessories get cut off. Instead of paying the bills himself, Frylock decides to teach Shake a lesson and leaves the house with any type of utility. Shake simply takes refuge in Carl's house.moreless

  • Frylock tries to teach Shake responsibility when Shake forgets or decides not to pay the bills and then all of the electricity and accessories get cut off

    I thought that this was a superb episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". My score was just a little low because I thought Shake was getting a little annoying not being responsible with the electricity, going to Carl's house to get some electricity when the electricity at their house was cut off since Shake failed to pay the bills, and then Shake not calling the ambulance or anything when Carl is shot in the foot and needs medical attention. Come on, Shake could've at least have the decency to help his neighbor Carl by calling the ambulance to get medical attention instead of just sitting on Carl's chair and watching some fishing show. The thing that also kinda bugged me was that Shake never learned anything about responsibility at the end of the episode because instead of paying the gosh darn bills, he just uses the electricity from Carl's house. I did laugh when Frylock accidentally rip off the foot of Carl and then said "Oh hell". I was also laughing pretty hard when Carl had the foot on his head. The scene with Carl and his foot bleeding was hilarious even though Shake was being annoying not even bothering to help Carl. Overall, this was a superb episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" but Shake was definitely being a little annoying in this episode and kinda bugged me..... Oh Shake, why can't you learn to be responsible once in a while instead of being irresponsible all the time. 9/10moreless

    Shake doesn't pay the bills. Horrible things happen to Carl. That's really all I need to say in order for people to gauge whether or not they like the brand of humor exhibited in Aqua Teen Hunger Force. This episode captures in all its glorious essence, how utterly pathetic the titular trio are and what happens when the sadistic leader gets his way.

    Shake just wants to watch TV sitting on his vomit-green chair. Everyone knows this. So it's no surprise that when ever sensible Frylock inquires as to why he hasn't paid the bills, Shake asks him for the number of the excavator, "unless you want to go dig up the septic tank yourself." The sheer nerve of the cup is unmatched by all but maybe Eric Cartman, and it shows wonderfully in "Super Squatter."

    Things get really great when the house's utilities are shut down, one by one. Meatwad can't shower or blend rotten hotdogs for his weenie smoothie, and Shake is seen pressing the buttons to the clearly dead television - it is this treatment of the clearly offbeat characters that makes them stand out so well. When Shake seems to admit that he needs to pay the bills, the scene changes, and he is seen grinning insipidly at Carl's door, in full mooch mode. The audience knows by now that Carl is not exactly a fan of Shake, so it's no surprise that later in the episode (while Meatwad tries to pay the bills in an absolutely adorable way - with leaves and pine needles), a gunshot is heard. However, Shake is seen as just fine - Carl has shot himself in the foot and is bleeding profusely, and Shake is watching fishing while contentedly snacking on a big bowl of pretzels. Of course, Frylock intervenes, and Carl's foot is severed in the process; in a hilarious mix of morbid denial and shock he quips "Oh, that's not mine, is it?" before the scene shows Frylock pulling Carl ever so slowly in the Danger Cart to the hospital as he screams in agony.

    After his HMO screws up his surgery, Carl returns with his foot sewed onto his head and in possession of some seriously huge pills. Also, Shake has paid the bills, according to Frylock, "in the most ass way possible," by rerouting the city's power to the Aqua Teens' house. The episode ends on a similarly hilarious note - since Carl's house has burned down due to the apparent electrical fire, Shake allows him into the guest bedroom, which is, in his terms, an ant pile on the sidewalk.

    This episode nails the feel of the series as well as it ever has. Every character is used appropriately and the plot is classic ATHF fare. If you consider yourself a fan of the series and have not seen this one, we're waiting for an explanation.moreless

    OK this one definitely qualifies as "Classic" simply because of Shake and another one of his priceless lines. "What he needs to do is get in contact with his satellite provider because if I have to watch one more redneck spit into a pond I will be forced to change the channel!" HILARIOUS. my friends and I laughed at that for an hour or at least until we laughed at it again when it reaired 3 hours later. Anyone who hasnt seen this one needs to because, just in case you can't already tell, this one makes you laugh till it hurts.moreless

    • When Frylock goes and looks at Carl's foot, Carl's necklace isn't wrapped all the way around his neck for some reason. Edit
    • Frylock goes into Carl's house and lifts him up by his foot to try to prevent an excess of blood from escaping his wound. When Carl is shown screaming after being picked up by Frylock, for some reason his necklace isn't falling back with him. Edit
    • The views of the inside of Carl's house through the windows are all messed up. At one point, Frylock sees Carl bleeding, on the ground to the left of the chair through the window that is to the right of the doorway. Yet when he reaches the front door, we see the chair through the doorway and then Frylock floats in and goes to the right. Another point to make is that the chair is facing to the right and behind the chair is a window. Through that window behind the chair, you can see a brick wall of the Aqua Teen's house yet if the chair is seen through the doorway facing to the right, the window would be looking out to Carl's backyard and the pool, not the side of the Aqua Teen's house.
