When Meatwad and Carl storm into the attic, Meatwad is wearing a Richard Nixon mask. Richard Nixon was the 37th President of the United States, who was forced to resign as a result of the Watergate scandal in 1974. During his election campaign of 1960 against John F. Kennedy, the two appeared the first nationally televised debated. Nixon, while generally considered to be a better speaker, was said to have been very unphotogenic when compared to the young Kennedy, and was said to have looked like a pale ghost under the hot TV studio lights, and due to the extremely narrow margin of Kennedy's victory in 1960, many have speculated that the incident may have been partially responsible for Nixon's defeat. Nixon has since been seen as a rather unsightly character.
