  • Emory and Oglethorpe steal the Aqua Teen Hunger Force's cable and they create the ultimate universal remote to change the channels on television

I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". A lot of good humor with the pothead aliens Emory and Oglethorpe. Emory and Oglethorpe return to Earth and travel across the world just to steal the Aqua Teen Hunger Force's cable and they also even create the ultimate universal remote so they can change channels. Emory being scared to watch bloody and gory horror movies was very funny. Meatwad watching horror movies but covers his eyes through the violent parts of the horror movie was funny. Frylock was suspecting that something is happening and so he went through the portal that was at the bottom of their house and saw that Emory and Oglethorpe stole his and the other Aqua Teen crew the cable. The aliens' part throughout this entire episode was very funny and I would pretty laugh at whatever lines that they would say. Frylock covering the portal so the aliens won't steal the cable ever again was very funny. The very ending with Meatwad saying to Frylock "I thought TV was bad" and then Frylock responding "I know, but we mother (bleep) need it" was absolutely hilarious and a good way to end this episode. Overall, an excellent episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" that had very good and impressive humor for all of the fans of this show to really enjoy. 10/10moreless

  • This is one of my very favorite Aqua Teen episodes, most likely because of the two pothead aliens that travel across space to steal cable. The one with the German accent is freakin' hilarious.moreless

This episode rules. It has everything I like about Aqua Teen Hungerforce. There's Master Shake, who believes that beating the t.v. with a pipe is the only way to fix it. There's the two aliens that get high and travel across space and time just to steal cable. There's Frylock, who is a hypocritical addict of television, and Meatwad who gets kicked around for nothing. This is one of the first episodes I saw on t.v. and is more or less the reason I continued watching this show. I love the recurrences of the two Plutonians, especially Oglethorpe. You can tell that Emory is a pothead because of his constant attempts at mellowing Oglethorpe down. The stupidity of the Plutonians combined with Shake's destructive personality, Frylock's hypocrisy, and Meatwad's semi-innocence, I have seen and recorded every episode of this show that I can, and I will continue to watch and love this show.moreless

A hilarious installment featuring our favorite food-based superhero kids squaring off against the evil Alien Invaders!

...Well, not really. Shake wants to watch TV, the Plutonians are stealing cable and there's a little guy called the Universal Remonster thrown in to shake things up even more.

Frylock ends the episode with some words to live by:
"TV is bad... but we f&$king NEED it!"

    • In the "chain" scene in Meatwad's room, there are several objects moving around copied from other Aqua Teen episodes, including the "Niel Bohr's atomic model" from Dumber Days, and the pink foresee from Space Conflict from Beyond Pluto. Edit
    • When the Remonster is shown behind the door, where you can't see him, you can see his reflection. How is that possible? Edit
    • When they steal the cable, the splitter is in the basement, but when you are looking at the inside of the ship clearly you can see that there is a splitter within the ship. Edit

    • Meatwad: (after being terrorized by Shake using the Remonster to thrash all his stuff around) Hey, did y'all see a ghost pass through here? 'Cause I been hoping like hell that he's gone... Master Shake: He probably went to the store to get some more food for his demons. Meatwad: Ohh, are you serious? Master Shake: You DO know where the demon food store is, right? Meatwad: What are you talking about? Master Shake: It's right BEHIND YOU! Meatwad: (horrified) OHHHHH NOOO! Master Shake: You're IN IT! Meatwad: I'M IN THE STORE? Master Shake: You're in the demon produce aisle! (Meatwad runs screaming from the house) Edit
    • Olgethorpe: It's a Fargate! Not a Stargate! We'll put it in a wheelchair and give it a mohawk if we have to! Edit
    • Oglethorp: We have successfully traveled beyond and across both space and time through the Fargate. To get free cable! Emory: I think it's a Stargate? Oglethorp: It's the Fargate! "F"! It's different from that movie, which I have never seen, so how would I copy it? Emory: Chill, man. It's alright. Let's just turn it on. Oglethorp: I just want to make sure that we are clear it's the Fargate. "Goes far." Get it? And there is no way it came from that movie or that syndicated series based on the movie. Emory: But it sure was a good movie. Oglethorp: Ya, yes it was. Turn on the TV, maybe it's on! Edit

    • Emory: Hey, is that a Powerpuff Girl?
A funny reference to fellow Cartoon Network show, The Powerpuff Girls. Edit
    • Title: Universal Remonster
The title of the show (and the creature it's based around) is a combination of the Universal Monsters series, and thepopular late 90's creation, The Universal Remote. Edit
    • Oglethorpe's Portal: The Fargate
A cheap, funny, and also crappy homage to the movie (and syndicated series) Stargate. (From the makers of Independence Day.) Edit
