Episode Recap

Master Shake and Meatwad are fighting over what to watch on TV. In the meantime, the Plutonians have returned to Earth using a device called "The Fargate", which has enabled them to travel through space and into the Aqua Teens' crawlspace to steal their cable. However, the Plutonians can't change the channel because they don't have a remote control. Oglethorpe orders the Universal Remonster, a furry robot with arms and legs made of television remotes, to appear, but Emory tells him that they're still beta-testing it. Reluctantly they bring it out, but it escapes through the "Fargate" and heads into the Aqua Teens' house, where it begins to control the TV.

As all of this is going on Frylock is scolding Shake and Meatwad for watching too much TV. Eventually he discovers the Remonster, and Shake decides to use it to his advantage. He finds the Remonster to be a capable assistant, to both comfort him while he watches TV and torture Meatwad with several auxiliary functions.

Back in space, the Plutonians are coming down off of a high, as they have been smoking marijuana and watching scary movies which the Remonster chose for them. As they continue to freak out on their ship, the Remonster's batteries run out and the TV turns off, which scares them even more. Meanwhile, Frylock discovers the stolen cable hookup and disconnects its, and confronts the Plutonians about what they've done. He then blocks the "Fargate" in the crawlspace with the Aqua Teens' TV so the Plutonians can't steal their cable anymore. This angers Shake, who decides to live in the crawlspace with the TV to spite Frylock for putting it there. It is all for naught, as despite his assertions that television is bad, Frylock has purchased a new plasma screen TV for the living room...because they "f***ing need it."
