The CW (ended)

If they make a Green Arrow spin off I will be uber pissed

How would you feel about a Green Arrow series?

Seems like The CW might want to make a spin off starring the Green Arrow. I would so be mad if they did that. Why make a GA show when you didn't, and still can, pick up the Aquaman series?

    Thoughts?

Just cuz Aquaman might not get picked up doesn't mean they shouldn't try other projects.

But where did you hear that CW is contemplating this?

I'd rather GA make semi-regular appearances on Smallville instead of a spin-off. I hope Aquaman returns to Smallville, even if it gets picked up.

I read it in an article. Sorry don't remember where *shrugs* They were considering it as an option. All I mean is what's the sense in making a GA spinoff when the Aquaman series already has the hype and anticipation.

I think that a Green arrow spin-off would be awesome.  It still would have been cool if the Aquaman pilot had got picked up, But I just think that green arrow is a more interesting character.

I'm on the site trying to find out info regarding the Smallville spinoff - Aquaman. Judging by the forums, I'll assume that the merger of UPN & WB has caused a "reassessing of pilots" and Aquaman is a casualty. Truly, that is a shame, I was looking forward to seeing it. Here's a thought: what if the Smallville episode "Justice" is a spinoff idea for a precursor to a live action "Justice League"?

The episode Justice, is not set to be the spin off episode. It's to see how it fairs, whether it gets good ratings and if it does, or regardless of whether it does or not, there will be a second League episode later in the season. That episode is said to be the episode if all goes well,to be the starting point for a spin off series about the Justice League.

I'd much prefer now to see a spin off of Green Arrow then Aquaman. Green arrow to me has always been more intresting and enjoyable.Aquaman is good, dont get me wrong. But I just prefer GA to AC!

How about making a show called "Justice" and having it follow a different character every week? That way no one will be upset about their favorite hero not being picked up.

Aquaman the series sucked. The pilot was garbage. However, the Green Arrow storyline is great, and could certainly see it getting picked up.

I can do nothing but agree with the statement above me, the series itself was very underdeveloped. Plus (don't hate me Hartley fans!) I don't think Justin Hartley plays a good enough Aquaman to have the part really shine. I wasn't impressed, and it wasn't just because of Lou Diamond Phillips. I think its the swagger that Hartley has that makes him an incredible Green Arrow. He personifies rich, smart, and charming. Aquaman the series would've been great had they cast the guy from the show, its just something about him that actually says AQUAMAN. Now back to the issue at hand, it would be ridiculous for them to do a spin-off with just Green Arrow. Now that we know he has a team, it would be a digression for him to all of a sudden be a solo act. Especially since he's pretty much Bruce Wayne with awesome aim. If we wanted a live action Batman, we'd ask for one. JUSTICE would be an awesome show, but Tom Welling (sp?) would have to guest star at least once to give it some credibility. "They've reeled us in, now give us what we want!!"

I just want to see a new comic hero show like smallville in the next couple years because the rumor is that it will not go past 7 season which I really want it too. But I dont think it will go more than 10 so it would be nice to have another Gough Millar show.

I'd prefer the Aquaman show to Green Arrow.

Green Arrow has too many similarities to Batman for my liking. They might as well make a Batman show instead and guest star Catwoman, Ra's Al Ghul, etc. That would certainly be far more popular than any Green Arrow show.

Atleast Aquaman will be different. And it will feature Atlantis which is always a plus.

I agree and we've sen that already. It's time for something different.
