A.C.: Eva, I know you're mad about those charters I blew off this morning. Eva: You know there's something ironic about watching 5 cardiologists have a heart attack when they find out their dive instructor is in jail. A.C.: No, see technically it was a holding cell, and the plan was not to get arrested.

Eva: Rough night? A.C.: No, no the night was fine. But this day keeps sucking more and more by the minute. Why are you putting a for sale sign on my boat? Eva: Technically the boat is still mine. Figured it was time for me to cut my losses.

A.C.: You know it's ten years today since Mom disapeared. Tom Curry: A.C. don't. Please don't do this to yourself. A.C.: But we were flying over the Bermuda Triangle. She called me Orrin, She said she had so much to tell me. Tom Curry: Didn't she also say do good with your life. I don't see you fixated on that.

A.C.: Yeah, and what's my true destiny, huh? McCaffery: To defend this world you've embraced as your own and protect the ocean from which you were born. A.C.: So you want me to fight Sirens and standard oil? Is that it?

Nadia: It's amazing how cruel people can be. A.C.: Yeah. It bothers me more and more. That marlin should be in the ocean, not hanging above some moron's fireplace. Nadia: Maybe some day the fish will get their revenge. A.C.: I don't know. I think rednecks make pretty ugly trophies.

Eva: So this girl, Nadia, is really a killer mermaid who wants to take you out because you're some sort of...underwater royalty? A.C.: In a clamshell, yeah!

Hmp, didnt really know Shakespeare was into sequels. McCaffery: I expect you to have read them by next week. A.C.: I gave up book reports in 6th grade. McCaffery: This is part of your training. A.C.: Right, see when you said training I thought you meant wielding tridents, and doing cool stuff in the water. McCaffery: All in due time. McCaffery: Don't worry, there's plenty of sex and violence in there to keep you interested. A.C.: Couldn't you just hit the highlights and tell me how it ends. McCaffery: The lesson isn't in the ending Orrin, it's in the journey.

McCaffery: Destiny is like a rip-tide. You never know it's pulling you in until it's too late.
