Archer Vice: Filibuster
Rolamb

WE GOT THE TIGER! And it was fierce one who seemed to be on the rebel side of the fights. In the end he'll probably be a CIA-agent in disguise, but what the hell…. But before I start with the recap, I have a request. If you liked reading this post, please give it a heart, either on the top right side or bottom left side of ...

Archer Vice: Palace Intrigue Part II
Well, lets get off my chest what I thought after seeing this episode: it was not the best of this season. Having said that, it still was a enjoyable. We got some history lessons, Cyril showed some initiative and we see a lot of girl power, especially in a few catfights. I’ve had worse evenings.

Last week we left our heroes in the middle of a shooting of shells next to the palace by the rebels and the ususal misconception by Cherlene who thinks it’s all for her and Cherlenemania had started! It looks spectacular (from the outside ...Read more

Archer 'Drastic Voyage: Part II" Review
'Why would you want to work for these Ivy-League white-shoe DC pricks? That's not who we are! We're the outsiders, the scrappy underdogs! We're Delta House, the Dirty Dozen, the Rebel Alliance, the Commitments! We're the Bad News Freakin' Bears, and our Lupus is an openly gay cyborg dying of sepsis in a wheelbarrow!'

And that’s how you (in this case Archer) say goodbye to the CIA and enter a new world of exciting new adventures. And it felt right, the combination with the CIA did not bring us the spying adventures we had hoped for.

But before arriving at that lonely point in the desert where they were stranded (probably somewhere in New Mexico), there was this mission in a miniaturized submarine to save Dr. Kovacs by getting rid of a blood clot in his brain. Well, contrary to the story this was all ...Read more

Archer: "White Elephant"
LANA!
LANAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT?
Archers back!

The opening musical sequence, with Archer basically waltzing through the office with a bunch of roses, I have to admit, was a bit off putting for me - I heard they were going in a different direction this season, but a musical?

Thankfully a heavily armed ...Read more

Archer: "Achub Y Morfilod" Review
While Archer tries to take Lana on a romantic holiday to have some time to talk over the Katya situation, we are treated on a piece of Welsh history. And, as we could have expected, the trip was also a business one.

After last weeks intervention by the ‘idiots’, as Archer calls them, we see our lovebirds just a few hours after the end of that episode. Lana is waking up in the back of the car, still wearing the lingerie she wore in Archers flat. She almost strangles Archer for drugging her and then abducting her in a CIA plane to Wales.

In a storyline that could easily have led to another break up, that breakup did not happen as both showed an almost unfamiliar maturity in their behaviour. It was on the edge, but still. One might even say it has strengthened their relationship. In the end, Lana ...Read more

Archer Vice: On The Carpet
Following up on the great recaps by Grumpyclown, you’ll have to sit in with one of mine this week. I’m just trying to fill the hole he left this week (yes, that’s phrasing).

Following up on last weeks episode where we saw Archer, Cyril and Ray take ...Read more

Archer: 'Reignition Sequence' Review
Coming home from a holiday one can only hope that the episodes waiting would be awesome. And yes, they pretty were. You did not get a review (yet), but for different reasons I was really amused. One of those reasons was that there was a bit of spying involved. But having had ‘Vision Quest’, where the group had interacted tremendously in a bottle episode without spying, that does not seem to be necessary. Then I watched this episode and to be honest, it still is trying to grow on me. Where some of the last episodes had me right away, this one just hadn’t. The final verdict will not take it into the higher regions of this season.

On a macro level, the episode was about how much Archer has grown as a character. Did they pull it off? Does it attribute to the series?

The whole episode is ...Read more

Archer "House Call"

So, 4 episodes in and all is not well in the cocaine business, I'm personally shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YA!

After last week Yakuza/Pam's deepening spiral into cocaine addiction episode, the former ISIS team, (we have to come up with a new group name, preferably involving the word cartel), decided enough was enough and it was time for an intervention!

Her addiction and Yakuza snafu had cost the group roughly 105 lbs of cocaine (or 47.6 kg). Pam is understandably upset about this, (say what you want about cocaine, as a slimming aid it really works ...

Sterling Archer is the world's most dangerous spy. He works for a spy agency run by his mother. In between dealing with his boss and his co-workers - one of whom is his ex-girlfriend - Archer manages to annoy or seduce everyone that crosses his path. His antics are only excusable because at the end of the day, he still somehow always manages to thwart whatever crises was threatening mankind.
