Archer, Malory, Lana and Ray travel to Monaco during Grand Prix week to make an expensive trade for a secret disk. Archer is given the four million dollars in untraceable bearer bonds, but Lana and Ray aren't sure he can be trusted with them. Meanwhile, back at ISIS headquarters, Cyril finds out that Malory took all the money from everyone's 401Ks to pay for the trade. Everyone back at ISIS decides to find a way to get their money back, no matter how unethical.

Malory claims that Archer does not gamble, and Archer confirms this. However, in the pilot episode Mole Hunt, Archer is seen playing roulette in a casino.
In the 401k list on Cyril's computer, several ISIS employees are listed that have never been seen: John Baxtor, Samantha Munroe, Heather Baker, and Jeff Chapman. Hector Ruiz also appears on the list, despite having been killed in the season one episode Diversity Hire.
When Cyril is looking at 401k information on his computer, "Doctor Krieger" is on the list. It was mentioned in the episode A Going Concern that Krieger is not any kind of doctor, but his first name appears to actually be "Doctor."
The translation from Lana and Benoît's French exchange:
Lana: On, nous excusait mon amie! Elle est fatiguée.
Benoît: Et, mal-élevée
Lana: Sans doute. Mais, vous avez un réservation pour moi, non? Lana Kane?
Benoît: Euh, non...
Lana: What?!!! Et pourquoi non?!
Benoît: C'est la Grand Prix.
Lana: So where are we supposed to sleep?!
When Ray hits someone with Malory's purse, he asks, "What does she have in here, buckles?" This is a callback to the pilot episode Mole Hunt, where Archer asks the same thing as Malory is hitting him with her purse.
Both Lana and Malory say that they've never seen Archer really drunk (except, in Malory's case, for that one time as a child). However, they saw Archer drunk at a party in the season one episode Training Day.
The location of the hotel keeps changing based on the shots. The hotel is established as being on the Grand Prix circuit, but from Archer's room, the hotel is too high up to be near the circuit. When the cars travel from right to left in front of the hotel, this could only happen at turns three & four, but these turns have inclines and curves which don't appear. There's also a shot of the foliage across the street (before zooming on Archer in the hot tub) that places the hotel on the start/finish straightaway, but the cars are traveling in the wrong direction; the straightaway is too long to be confused with any other location on the track. In addition, in the final chase, the cars travel past non-existing locations or in the wrong direction; this is established by where the cars are stopped and the order they reach locations, compared to when they cross the part of the course that passes next to the yachts and docks.
Ray: (Taking Archer's hotel toiletries) You're not using them.
Archer: Yes, I am!
Ray: Go look at your pores and then tell me you're using them.
Ray: (About a hotel room) No view, but it's got two queens.
Malory: Where's the other one? Greasing up in the bathroom?
Cyril: How'd you guys like a color copier and about eighty computers, for your clubhouse?
Pam: And some blow jobs! (Pause) I mean printers.
Archer: (In Grand Prix race car) This might be hard to drive with such a huge, throbbing erection.

Bell Biv DeVoe
The drivers in first race are named Bell, Bivens & Devoe.
This is a reference to the American R&B group Bell Biv DeVoe, popular in the 1990s. Their most famous single was "Poison".
Charlie Chaplin/Elvira
The Halloween costumes that Archer and Malory wear in the flashbacks are Charlie Chaplin and Elvira, respectively. They both seem to have Chaplin's iconic mustache confused with Hitler's. In fact, it is rumored that Hitler admired the comedian so much that he purposely copied Chaplin's facial hair.
Apollonia 6
The drivers who win the second race are named Moonsie, Bennett, and Kotero. These are the last names of the members of Apollonia 6, a 1980s girl band who were assembled by musical artist Prince and appeared in the 1984 Prince movie,Purple Rain.
James Bond
Le Chuffre, who tries to extort money from Malory, is a reference to the villain named Le Chiffre from the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale.
Herbie the Love Bug
The race car that Lana is driving has the same paint and number as Herbie the Love Bug, from the Disney series about the anthropomorphic car.
Frisky Dingo
The muffin in the briefcase gag is a reference to a Frisky Dingo episode Meet Awesome-X, a show by the same creator, Adam Reed.
It also appeared in the Archer episode Tragical History.
M*A*S*H
Archer: Thanks, Radar.
This is a reference to Corporal "Radar" O'Reilly, from M*A*S*H.
The nerdy, bespectacled man whom Archer is addressing bears a resemblance to Gary Burghoff, the actor who portrayed the character in the TV show and the film.
Ben Wa balls
Benoit's name makes Archer laugh because Ben Wa balls are the name of a sex toy.
