    O,o I read somewhere that the midnight dust is really just colored salt... I can't remember where though. Is this true? If not, what is it?

    i think it's true. it sort of looked like sand and that was what i always thought it was, but i never knew for sure.

    I remember in Dead Man's Float, Stig eats some of it. I think if it was sand or anything else he wouldn't have tried to eat it.
