  • Door of Desire

    9.1
This might not be the strongest episode but it's a story done well. Thanks to actor Michael Maccarone and actress Elena Nep (Erin from Edgemount)making their characters believable and likeable. And it's sense of anticipation hoping our hero can save the day. This story is a modern dark fairy tale, a Lewis Caroll like door is Freudian metaphor for repressed romantic desires and courage. The door represents Justin's desire, even though it looks small and is something that he can carry around. But behind it contains a huge part of his life that needs release with a key called courage. The story just goes to show the importance of making your desire into a reality, we can never really get what we want unless were willing to open the door.
  • A boy that lacks confidence when it comes to girls purchases a miniature door from Sardo. When he sees a girl in it, he thinks all is well. But, when she becomes a classmate, he finds that danger may been impendent.

    7.2
This story, while amusing (as always) because of Sardo and his "one of a kind" door, it is pretty bland. The boy gets what he wants, the courage to talk to a girl and also manages to become her hero, rescuing her from a burning house. But, sadly, it really isn't all that enticing.
