Frank and Gary team up to tell this tale of magic, wisdom and ancient curses. Ian Keegan gathered up all the power of Jonas Cutter's victims into a tiny dagger. Centuries later, his ancestor opens the chest containing it to avenge their wrongful deaths.
Since this was a two part show, there was more time for character development and other small things to happen. Rush Keegan buys his younger brother a magic set so that he'll leave him alone for the weekend. While he's at Sardo's shop he opens a chest that claims a prize for the opener. The prizes seem worthless...an old dagger and a "busted" spyglass. Despite, he takes the items home and finds that they have much more value than he imagined. Part I was good, even if there wasn't much action until the pirates came.
