  • Two new boys in a neighborhood meet a group of children, who play hide and seek in a cemetery at night. The cemetery is rumored to be haunted by Old Man Corcoran according to the kids. Could it be true?moreless

The flow of the story is well established from beginning to end. What starts off as two boys new to the neighborhood playing in a graveyard with a group of children ends up with a surprise at the end.

\"Twisted\" is the word to describe this episode, which reminds me of a movie starring \"Bruce Willis.\" The reason for those children playing in the cemetery and Old Man Corcoran\'s second to last line compliments the conclusion when the two boys look behind them and see an unexpected sight.

It\'s a creepy, interesting, and TWISTED episode that defines a scary show.moreless
  • Two brothers, new to the neighborhood are invited to play a game of hide & seek by group of kids. Though it may sound like "little kid stuff", they play in a graveyard that is rumored to be haunted.moreless

The plot line is pretty standard 3/4ths of the way through this episode. New kids move in and try to make friends. One boy in a group of friends reaches out to them, however, the others are reluctant to accept them. So, one of them tells the story of Old Man Corcoran, the bewildered gravekeeper that kills kids and plays harmonica, who supposedly haunts the graveyard they play hide & seek in. This seemingly startles the boys because just minutes after heading off into the shadowy, six-foot-hole littered high grasslands of the graveyard, the boys think they spot the ghost of Old Man Corcoran and run off afraid. The next day, the group wants to finish the game since the boys took off. Feeling the need to maintain their "tough guy" status, the older brother accepts the challenge and they return that night. What one expects to happen involves something to the effect of Old Man Corcoran chasing after the kids in a tense, drawn-out scene. Surprisingly, something extremely unexpected and delightful happens, making this one of the best episodes of this season.moreless
