Two siblings, Jazz and Augie, are sent to boarding school while their parents are away. They immediately notice that the school is quite different and has some rather strange rules. For example, only calm, soothing tones are allowed inside the school and the students are only given the option to eat something called 'spunge' for meals daily. Jazz and Augie soon learn why the owners are so strange and have these odd rules in place.moreless

David's stories are great. He' my fav teller. The school follows the Black Book? Learning Process wonderful. What surprised me is the loud frequency when Mr. Taylor had migraines. It was kind of awkward that how could such a school have people that couldn't stand high frequency sounds. Augie is very smart and Jazz is sort of a little brat at first but she gets better. Spunge? I would love to try it but then I think that is what makes the children do whatever the Taylors choose. The skin part is so gross and uh the food they had in that cabinet was sort of sick and made me puke. In the end, Augie did it but is it the end? I don't think so.moreless

Creepy school+ Evil monster x spunge = Classic ayaotd!

I remember little of this episode. I know it scared the hell outta me, and I know it left me with that lingering feeling that only creepy things can. But isn't that all you need to know?
Jazz and Augie are great characters, not annoying at all as the children sent off to boarding school, and the story is both suspensful and creepy. When the children go walking at night, it is a pretty scary moment. The end is also perfectly done, leaving a brilliant question mark over the whole thing. The resolution could also have been done so badly, but it isn't.
While it may not be one of those stories with underlying emotional depth, it certainly holds its own as a brilliantly creepy tale.moreless

"Perfect"

I loved this episode as a child. The plot was so far fetched that the fantasy made it even better. I loved especially how one of the siblings conformed to the other kids and ate sponge but the other was more suspicious and did not. Also, since I never went to boarding school, the mystery and intregue of living with your friends 24-7 that was included in this episode was great. Even the secret ending was perfect. The kids were lured out of bed in the middle of the night and led downstairs where they fed a mysterious pool of green eggs. Ahh childhood...moreless
