  • Todd needs a job to help out his mom and he gets hired as an assistant for Shandu, a washed up magician. When temptation overcomes him, Todd steals Shandu's wand (a serious offense in the realm of magic) and unleashes the nefarious Nazrak.

This episode is merely average because some portions of it are silly, especially the call "Shandu Can Do!" to make the wand work. That is about as original as shouting "Alakazam!" But aside from that, the plot line is a bit confusing (Nazrak commands Todd to give him the wand, but when Todd finally does, Nazrak scolds him for doing so) and too conveinient (the mom dropping the groceries, the mirror being right behind Todd, etc.) But overall, this was a fair episode and by no means awful or unwatchable.
