Yawn!
That's right...yawn.
AYAOTD should have revelled in its own history...combined some real classics and given us a real chill fest. Instead we get a half-hearted attempt at scariness, something whivh faisl to campture.
The grandfather death that kicks it off as contrived and played with little convintion. Or to put in laymans terms, was unoriginal and felt poorly thought out. Gary and Tucker do well, although treat their grandfathers death as though their favourite hamster has just snuffed it.
The story involves The General, a man who is Really Mean and Strange ...and boring as hell. There's a little kid and moving knights that are about as scary as somebody shouting "BOO!" at you.
Basically, this story could have been so much better. To be fair, its atmospheric here and there and it does have an interesting story to tell. But at this stage, that story could have been told so much better.
