Nitpick: Why couldn't Dr. Oliver bring Goth back herself? If he can give people the power to control other people's minds she shouldn't need to trick people into doing it, she should be able to do it herself.
Goof: When Dean gives Ms. Chrenshaw the test, it is completely blank, but when she sets it on the counter it's all filled out.
Foreshadowing: Dr. Oliver makes a comment similar to, Hopefully you'll be another convert. That's what I'm here for. When showing Dean the artifacts. This is foreshadowing to the end when it turns out she was the one tricking people into following Goth.
Erik: Yeah, the world's doomed.
Dr. Oliver: And to think, everyone thought I was mad!
(Story Opening) Betty Ann: This story takes place today, but it began years ago. In fact, it truly began centuries ago, but I'm jumping ahead...
(Story Intro) Betty Ann: (Holding a skull) My story is about a head of a different sort. An ancient wizard's good luck charm. Pick it up, and the world can be your oyster, but let the holder beware... this charm may be more than you bargained for. Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this story... The Tale Of The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Goth: You are the one who interferes. You must be eliminated!
David: I smell a sequel!
This is the second story Betty Ann told in a row. She seems to do this often.
