Are You Afraid of the Dark?

How people do not love this show is beyond me. Even now, as a grown adult these episodes are still completely awesome when I rewatch them. Are they scary? No, but that is not really all the show was supposed to be. They did have some moral lessons, even if they were not on the same scale as to that of The Twilight Zone. Plus, you get to see some actors before they were famous like Elisha Cuthbert in the Midnight Society, and Jay Baruchel in the actual episode, which featured a nice story from beginning to completion.



Please bring this back Nickelodeon.

Despite the low rating, this is actually a pretty good episode. It is very suspenseful, and the kid's manner of outwitting Mr. Click was interesting. The actor that plays Mr. Click puts forth a perfect creepiness one would except of such a character. The only complaint I have is that the idea of using kids as pets for people on this planet is strange and farfetched. If it were some intergalaxy exchange it would actually be MORE believeable. Overall, a fine episode from the new series.
