Are You Being Served? The movie was not the best episode - although it gets the laughs occasionaly, David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd just recycled half of the jokes from previous seasons. The lack of a studio audience and different camera techniques gave it a different feel, I also was put off by the voices, they sounded too different for my liking. On to the plot - wow, it was very unoriginal, a group of people head to a foreign country in the 70's and get caught up in a rebellion, although the additions of Andrew Sachs, Glyn Houston and Karan David were acceptable, the demotions of Wendy Richard, Arthur Brough, Nicholas Smith, Arthur English and Harold Bennett were unacceptable and not crediting Penny Irving was a big mistake - changing her characters name also (Miss bakewell to Miss Nicholson) gave it a different feeling. OK for an Are You Being Served? fan, but if you're new to grace Bros. I wouldn't reccomend starting here.
