There's only a choice of two, who will it be Mr Lucas or Mr Spooner?  I'm in the Dick Lucas camp.

Incidentally, the idea for the series was initially going to be about the exploits of  Mr Lucas and it blossomed into one of the all-time greats in British comedy.

Although some episodes involving Mr Spooner had some good lines in it, but I think the show was on it's last legs long before it was canned. The last episode which I think was the episode when Mr. Spooner was going to be a pop star was cringeworthy.

Mr Spooner was my favourite. I find him funnier than Mr Lucas ever was.

Miss Brahms was also a Junior. She was just in the ladies dept. Mr. Lucas still has my vote though.

Mr. Lucas for sure. The show lost a lot when he left. Mr Spooner is all right, but I love Mr. Lucas.

My favorite Jr. would have to be Mr. Lucas. Though I liked Spooner.

And don't forget that Mr. Grainger was the Junior for one episode (in A Change is as Good As a Rest)....

But I agree with you all, Mr. Lucas was the best!

    Definitely Mr. Lucas.

When he insulted Mrs. Slocombe, it was funny, but whenever Mr. Spooner did it, it just seemed mean.
