Hosted by Rove McManus, contestants can win up to AU$500,000 by correctly answering a series of primary school-grade questions. If needed, contestants can ask a "classmate" (who are 5th grade students) for help answering questions. If they get an answer incorrect or decide to give up, they must announce: "My name is and I am not smarter than a fifth grader!"moreless

"Abysmal"

I'm really getting tired of this, Channel ten replaces good foreign television for a reality show with not just random kids it's most likely the smartest 5th graders from Melbourne. The show is about Rove getting normal contestants on with questions that you would never be asked in your life let alone year 5. Like ''How many chinese Zodiac signs are their?'' I didn't even no their was a Chinese Zodiac until year 7 W-T-F. The show is worse than that abomination the 7 pm project, mainly because of not just the slapstick humour. It's because Rove McManus Tries insanely to hard to make audiences laugh and just carries out a joke that stopped being funny in 1867. I'm glad that the show's off the air and no doubt it will return and get a logie so Rove can feel special knowing that he wastes $500,000 prize money on a 60 min show, i would probably rather sit through an episode of All saints than watch this. I mean, Deal or no deal is pretty good! Why can't this be? Why? Because Rove thinks he is the king of Aussie Comedy. Please, more of the Chaser and less 5th grader.moreless

I love this show because while you watch you actually try and answer the questions and some of them are harder than you think. This also shows you if you really are smarter than a 5th grader!

Seeing some of the people that go on and the kids that are just so smart it makes you feel like you never pasted 5th grade!

This is a very interesting show, because it also shows the limits people will go when they have got it wright!

Its a great show for all of the family and its great for everyone to watch!
