  • Pilot of Are You There, Chelsea?

The Pilot of "Are You There, Chelsea?" was a superb and awesome first episode of this hilarious series from one of my favorite Comedians, Chelsea Handler. I really dig the styling of this sitcom and the format for their jokes. The actors are all very excellent in their roles and know their craft well. I was laughing throughout the episode, which built up the back story and characters very effectively in twenty minutes. It was awesome to watch Chelsea play Sloane and Laura from That 70's show play Chelsea. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!!!moreless
  • Better than 'Whitney'

I might be being biased with the show only because it's starring Laura Prepon, but the story lines weren't bad in my opinion. The story lines were different and fresh, definitely I can see this show get controversial based on the topic of red-heads in the first episode but I actually really liked it a lot.

The show needs some fine-tuning though. There are a couple characters that are superfluous, and don't really make much sense or are as funny as the two leading ladies. The thing I don't understand is why their advertising this show alongside 'Whitney.'

I understand that Whitney Cummings has connections to Chelsea Handler and to the networks which is why her show hasn't gotten axed, probably because that would mean axing her other show: '2 Broke Girls.' I get a very corrupt vibe from the entire situation. Anyway, this show just needs to standalone without 'Whitney' because honestly it doesn't need that kind of publicity.moreless
  • Are you there Chelsea

Chelsea never disappoints; my husband deleted the DVR schedule that I had set up for this and it almost became an all-out war; then I realized we have internet and maybe....just maybe...I could view it on-line. He got a reprieve from the a--whooping I surely wanted to lay on him. Love the show, love the characters and I hope episode 2 (etc) are worth the DVR lock-in I placed on them ---take that hubby!
